Full Day Melbourne Wildlife and Penguins Day Tour
This tour is the ultimate experience for those interested in Australian animals
and our beautiful Phillip Island. We learn about orphaned wombats and kangaroos, watch the Pelicans
feeding, get close to Koalas, enjoy a traditional horse and buggy ride, view the Nobbies and the
magnificent coastline and learn all about the Little Penguins. Finally stay at the parade until
dark and watch the world famous Little Penguins waddle up the beach - a perfect finish to a fantastic
day.
Tour Highlights
● Enjoy a guided tour of the Wildlife Park at Maru Craft where we interact with
some
of Australia's favourite animals
● Learn about orphaned baby wombats, kangaroos and how they are re-established
into the wild and see and learn about emus, dingoes and other Aussie animals.
● Watch the amazing Pelicans feed at San Remo
● Stop for photos at the spectacular Cape Woolami beach
● Walk among the treetops at the Koala Conservation Centre in the company of a
ranger who will explain all about Koalas and their habitats
● Take a horse and buggy ride along the historic and scenic pathways of Churchill
Island where a ranger will explain the history and take us on a tour of the
homestead and beautiful gardens
● Indulge in a delicious lunch on Churchill Island with tea and coffee
● Explore the area known as The Nobbies where we walk along boardwalks built on
the cliffs and view rugged coastal scenery
● See Seal Rocks just off the Nobbies - home to Australia's largest colony of
fur

● On to the Penguin Parade where we are met by a ranger who will take us through
the Information Centre and down to the beach
● Learn all about the life and habits of the Little Penguins from the ranger and
experience parts of the Nature Park off limits to other people

● Experience a more personalised viewing of the Little Penguins coming out of
the
water and waddling across the beach as they make their way to their burrows
● Be one of a limited number of people allowed to watch the penguins arrive at this
closer viewing platform

penguins and their fascinating lives

● Children (4-14 years) receive a 50% discount off adult fares unless stated
otherwise.
● Children under 4 years travel free if seats are available

● Hotel Pick ups - Please wait outside accommodation 5 minutes prior to given

Cancellation Policy
If tour is cancelled by passenger less than 24 hours ahead of scheduled departure,
no refund will be given. We suggest that if the cancellation is due to illness, then the advice
of the passengers travel insurer should be sought. If tour is cancelled by passenger with more than
24 hours notice, a cancellation/administration fee will apply.
